Peptide therapy has gone from niche to everywhere in about two years, and with that comes a lot of noise. This is our plain-language version: what peptides actually are, what the different protocols are used for, and exactly how the process works when you come to us.
What a peptide actually is
Peptides are tiny messengers your body already makes. Each one carries a single instruction: repair this, release that, rebuild this. Your body sends thousands of these signals every day. Peptide therapy gives you more of one specific message.

How peptides differ from supplements
A supplement adds raw material to your whole system and hopes some of it lands where it's needed. A peptide speaks to one pathway. That precision is the appeal, and it's also the reason these are prescription medications a physician reviews, not something you buy off a shelf.
- Prescription only. A licensed physician evaluates you and writes the prescription.
- Made for you. Each protocol is compounded to order by a licensed 503A pharmacy.
- Done at home. Most are self-administered after live training with your nurse.
- Measured in months. Protocols run in courses, and results build gradually.
The protocols we offer
- Sermorelin helps your body make more of the hormone it uses to repair itself overnight. Sleep is usually the first thing people notice.
- CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin is the same idea, stronger: two peptides working together. The pick when less fat and more tone is the goal.
- Tesamorelin targets the deep belly fat around your organs. The scale may not move much. Your waistline can.
- GHK-Cu Injection is a copper peptide for skin and healing that works throughout your body.
- GHK-Cu Cream is the same copper peptide as a prescription-strength cream. No needles.
- Epithalon supports sleep and your body clock, taken as a short course a few times a year.
- PT-141 is for sex drive. It works in the brain, not on blood flow, so it works for women and men.
Why you talk to us first
Most telehealth peptide services send you straight to a prescriber. We don't. Before you're ever scheduled with the physician, you sit down with our clinical team to go through your history, your medications, and what you're actually trying to accomplish. If peptides aren't right for you, we'd rather tell you in a conversation than have you find out at the end of a consultation you paid for.
From first conversation to first dose
- Consultation with Elemental. We review your history and goals and tell you honestly whether peptides make sense.
- Telehealth visit with the physician. If you're a candidate, a licensed prescriber evaluates you independently and writes the prescription.
- Compounded and shipped. A licensed 503A pharmacy prepares your protocol and ships it straight to your door.
- Live training. Your Elemental nurse walks you through everything on a video call, or in person when the schedule allows.
- Ongoing follow-up. We check in through your course, and the physician re-evaluates before any renewal.
What arrives at your door
Your medication, prepared specifically for you, plus the correct syringes, alcohol prep pads, and written instructions. Shipping is included. GHK-Cu Cream arrives without injection supplies.

"Do I really have to inject myself?"
For most protocols, yes, but it's far less intimidating than it sounds. The needles are small, the injection goes just under the skin, and your nurse watches you do it live and corrects you in real time. Most patients say the first one is the only one they think about. If needles are a dealbreaker, ask about GHK-Cu Cream.
What results look like
Peptides work over a course, not a single dose. Most clients describe changes building over weeks rather than days, and sleep is often the first thing people mention. Your physician will set expectations for your specific protocol at your visit.
Is it right for you?
Peptides aren't for everyone. Pregnancy and breastfeeding, some health conditions, and certain medications can all affect whether a protocol fits you, and you must be 18 or older. Bring your full medication list, supplements included, to your consultation and we'll give you a straight answer.
A note on how peptides are regulated
Peptide therapy is elective wellness care. Our protocols are compounded, prescribed by a licensed physician, and supervised by our Medical Director. Some compounds are FDA-approved in other forms for specific uses; your physician will explain exactly how yours is prescribed and what that means for you.
This article is general education, not medical advice. Dosing, schedule, and course length are set by the prescribing physician. Peptide therapy is not FDA-approved to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
